And The Golden Globes Award Goes To… Famous Frames!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association chooses Famous Frames, and its artist Colin McGreal to design the first official commemorative poster for the 66th annual Golden Globes award! The poster was distributed to all guests who attended the ceremony. “The HFPA board of directors felt this poster will become a cherished memento of the evening suitable for framing”, said its president Jorge Camara.
”We’re honored to be given the opportunity to design the 2009 Golden Globes Award poster,” said Mark C. Miller, President of Famous Frames. “We look upon this as recognition of Famous Frames’ twenty year contribution to the film/television industry as the country’s leading storyboard artist and animatic production agency.”
An additional set of 200 posters were hand-signed by artist McGreal and various celebrities including Steven Spielberg, Tina Fey, Colin Farrell, Kate Winslet, Mickey Rourke, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the ceremony! The limited edition posters will be auctioned off in May by Bonhm & Butterfield’s to benefit the Stars for a Cause charity.
